1. What is “Gen - Comp Law” software is all about?

Answer: Gen - Comp Law is software which provides ease to compliances for all secretarial provisions of:

  • Companies Act 1956
  • LLP Act 2008 and
  • XBRL Conversion as per Revised Schedule VI,
  • Profit and Loss account (P&L) and Balance Sheet (B/S) through which they can be prepared in XML format. All e-forms are available in this software and can generate without going to MCA i.e. ROC portal.
  • 2. How can we feed the existing company’s data (or) Is there any facility to create company as a client?

    Answer: Yes, there is facility to import data of an existing incorporated company through its CIN and Director’s DIN no. or e-form 20B and we can also create/incorporate a new company (or) LLP by this software.

    3. Is there any facility to back-up and restore?

    Answer: Yes, there is a facility to take back-up and restore in two ways:

  • Individual company.
  • Entire software’s data.
  • 4. What are the basic details required to generate a pre-filled e-form?

    Answer: The basic initial input required is as follows:

  • Capital Structure of a company: Equity shares and Debentures.
  • Appointment of Directors
  • Appointment of CA/CS/CWA
  • Authorized Signatories
  • After this relevant details of particular e-forms are required to be given and then you can get it generated.
  • 5. How can I prepare Statutory Compliance Registers and Books as per “SS-4: Secretarial Standard on Registers & Records”?

    Answer: As you are filling the e-forms with this software the statutory registers will be getting auto-updated and you can have them as on today’s current status whenever you will generate, following Registers will be generated automatically:

    6. How can I prepare Minutes Book from this software as per “SS-5: Secretarial Standard on Minutes”?

    Answer: Yes, there is a facility to generate minutes for:

  • Board Meetings and any other meetings [u/s 193].
  • General Meeting [u/s 193 & 196].
  • Whenever there is any meeting and respective resolutions are passed you can save it within software and generate when required. This will keeps your Minutes Book record up to date and ready to give it to client as or when required.
  • 7. How many types of reports can be generated by comp law software apart from Registers and Minute Books?

    Answer: Following reports can be generated by company law software:

    Answer: Yes, you can add such resolutions that required in a company’s routine or to transact its day to day businesses or authorization.

    9. Is there any facility to directly upload the e-forms without going on MCA’s website?

    Answer: Yes, we have given a direct login way to upload e-forms, our user need not required to open multiple internet browsers.

    10. What if any of the e-form is changed by ROC or How such change can be upgraded in this software?

    Answer: Yes, there is a facility to download new e-forms as or when launched by MCA or ROC through Comp law software by checking option of “Check New Forms”.

    11. Is there any facility to keep track of DSC (Digital Signature Certificate)?

    Answer: Yes, there is facility to maintain a track on DSCs and one can check as when or which signature is going to expire. The software intimates you about such expiration.

    12. Is this software prepares any Fixed Asset Register?

    Answer: Yes, we have given an option through which one can keep his registers of fixed assets as per Books, Companies act and Income tax act on following criteria:

  • Department

  • And details can be tracked as when an asset is:

    Answer: Since this software take cares of all compliances related to MCA, we have incorporated the creation of XBRL instance documents in the same software and it is also available separately.

  • FTE: Fast Track Exit
  • CLSS: Company Law Settlement Scheme, are being given in this software as or when required.

  • Note: Currently its only introductory package, few Updation are required to be done.
